Quinn Customer Insights

1. I love the hair twin feature and am really happy that I can finally record my hair progress and history in such a simple manner :)Great app with community options for curly/wavy peeps.

2. THE GOOD: I mostly use this for my own personal hair journal, but it has a decent sized community that you can follow others and get their advice.

3. This app is based on a good concept, but the UX is horrible.Over a month ago I noticed I can't add anymore journal entries because it won't let me upload photos and the app doesn't let you submit an entry without a photo.

4. Nice to see curly girls reviews of products that have same hair type as me.

5. Still no shampoo option which is frustrating.Ideal for those on the road to healthy hair and would like a great way of documenting it.

6. Wouldn't mind if it gave the option of selecting a,b,c in each hair type either.

7. They are uploaded to a calendar which is amazing because then I can easily track hair changes and also see which products are working.

8. The app closes by itself for no reason, it wouldn't let me upload more than one image (even though the layout suggests thus should be possible), and in the end my post never saved in my journal.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Quinn Issues

1. Fix Quinn Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Quinn: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Quinn App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Quinn" » Open Quinn - Social Hair App | Jour » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Quinn » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Quinn - Social Hair App | Jour app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Quinn servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Quinn - Social Hair App | Jour" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Quinn app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Quinn might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Quinn. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Quinn then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Quinn not working


2. Fix Quinn Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Quinn be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Quinn not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Quinn may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
