1. This is such a well designed user experience that makes it so easy and seamless to do everything from booking appointments, to checking your donation history, pulling up your donor card, filling out the questionnaire, and even seeing your donor stats and blood type.

5. It could also automatically cancel appointments that may have already been booked in that period!Would be nice if the directions didn't auto link to google navigation.

6. And, because you can't copy in the open, I have to keep switching back and forth between apps to figure out where I'm going and how long it'll take.I don't usually go out of my way to review apps, but the GiveBlood app is so good that I couldn't resist.

7. My only suggestion would be to have an option to add events that prevent from being able to donate examples: tattoos, piercings, etc.

8. This should be the standard for all mobile developers!It was a little confusing at first to use the app, but once you get the hang of it, it is easy peasy.

9. Its handy to do your questionnaire ahead of time too.User friendly.

10. I did this blood donation few times, and this gave mental satisfaction.

11. I would like to advice about this process, please give more flexibility with appointments and more locations.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix GiveBlood Issues

1. Fix GiveBlood Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart GiveBlood: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the GiveBlood App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GiveBlood" » Open GiveBlood » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GiveBlood » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear GiveBlood app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GiveBlood servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GiveBlood" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check GiveBlood app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GiveBlood might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall GiveBlood. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GiveBlood then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GiveBlood not working


2. Fix GiveBlood Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GiveBlood be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GiveBlood not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GiveBlood may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
