myScoop Customer Insights

1. Saves alot of time on video editing and yields amazing results.I have 24mp front camera and 16mp at the rear but both of them seems 5mp when capturing picturing or shooting some videos, I hope this will be fix soon...Why the camera quality goes bad when i want to record.

Nope, can't get pass inputing my email address which is says try again later To bad seem like a good ap Is anyone actually using itSince last update the application stops working and keep giving me this message (can't connect to server) .. it was working before but this start to happen after the last updateSuper useful app.

For my opinion if we could do that it will be much better ,because some of the phones do not have a very high quality camera(not like me) and others may not benefit from the app and it will be useless for them except if they want to buy photos.It keeps saying for a couple days now there's an errorand to come back later, I'm just trying to make an account? 4. Best of luckthe camera photos needs bright light when used inside the app! but normal photos with system camera is better... plz help...its blurry photos inside the appIt's an awesome app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix myScoop Issues

1. Fix myScoop Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart myScoop: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the myScoop App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "myScoop" » Open myScoop - Citizen Journalism » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for myScoop » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear myScoop - Citizen Journalism app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from myScoop servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "myScoop - Citizen Journalism" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check myScoop app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, myScoop might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall myScoop. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall myScoop then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing myScoop not working


2. Fix myScoop Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make myScoop be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to myScoop not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, myScoop may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
