Why should I report an Issue with Writer?

1. A lot wrong with this app but I'll keep it anyway for the sake of writing my personal storiesThere is no save button, can't share using any extensions that the app is providing (it asks which extension I want, but doesn't show to where, it only closes without sharing), and the backup to my memory card is not working, it only shows a blank page with a refresh icon.

2. It can't print only one separate note or even one separate folder, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of notes in folders.

3. Besides that, this app is perfect! Dark mode, folders to keep things organized, and it has italic bold and strikethrough options which I like to use a lot 😁1.

4. I already tried to restart the app multiple times, and I still have the same problemFor some reason I lost files when I didn't immediately update the app, but once I did sure enough they all came back! So glad I thought I lost a lot of work forever 😭.

5. It has a small trouble with listenng bigger files, but otherwise the app is amazing! Just like an old writer, really! Also, I would like to see you can create a folder within a folder too.

6. The dark mode also helps me focus on what I'm wroting at night.I use Ommwriter on the computer and so far this has been my favorite writing app that compares to it.

7. Few improvements I would ask for, such as being able to lock folders or to move pre-existing documents into new folders.

8. Could use more differentiated fonts, and maybe a custom-orginization for the order files and folders.

9. Hope for an update with improvements soon.I would give five stars, but I have been finding a trouble into the "tts" feature.

11. The blue and pink theme color don't apply; I select them and they end up being a black theme color.

1. Fix Writer Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Writer: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Writer App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Writer" » Open Writer » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Writer » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Writer app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Writer servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Writer" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Writer app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Writer might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Writer. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Writer then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Writer not working

2. Fix Writer Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Writer be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Writer not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Writer may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
