1. The print and buttons are also very small and hard to click.Hard to use! I already purchased MK makeup last night.. Why should I have to purchase more make to utilize this app.. And it also don't let you try make up looks on yourself first before actually wearing it.. Also when I downloaded this app, I'm thinking there is a bug.. I looked in my apps that were downloaded on my phone to delete it and it was not there but when I went back into Google play store it was.

2. Was never able to do the makeover Deleted the appI had so much fun play with all the different looks, and I love how all the Mary Kay makeup that you used to create the look is listed /saved for you to refer back on when you're wanting to purchase any of the items.print is too small.

The wording in the app is way too small you're able to pick a model but not actually mess with the makeup or hair but for some reason it is not working and you can't change the hair or makeup I used to use this app all the time and it was fun but now it is just not working! Whatever update they did the developers need to fix it!I have used mary k app in the past and it was great! Easy to use.

4. But when you try to edit makeup or hair, it's not there? I looked around but I couldn't see anything to edit a photo.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Mary Kay Issues

1. Fix Mary Kay Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Mary Kay: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Mary Kay App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Mary Kay" » Open Mary Kay® Virtual Makeover » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Mary Kay » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Mary Kay® Virtual Makeover app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Mary Kay servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Mary Kay® Virtual Makeover" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Mary Kay app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Mary Kay might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Mary Kay. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Mary Kay then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Mary Kay not working


2. Fix Mary Kay Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Mary Kay be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Mary Kay not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Mary Kay may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
