3. The Benzo Switcher works to partially mitigate the current lack of publications and data on this conversion, which is common in palliative care.

4. Established in 2010 by and for palliative medicine practitioners, Orthodose has proven to be an innovative and valuable medical application for healthcare professionals.

5. An opioid rescue dose, also called a breakthrough dose, is an additional dose of analgesics administered preferably to patients with cancer in the event of an attack of paroxysmal pain.

6. Relied on by doctors & physicians since 2010, Orthodose is the only app of its kind that helps caregivers facilitate rescue dose treatment.

7. An Opioid Switcher is used to calculate equianalgesic doses for different opioids used in palliative care.

8. Corticodose, the built-in corticosteroid converter, allows you to compare the mineralocorticoid potency of most glucocorticoids used in palliative care, like methylprednisolone and dexamethasone.

9. Orthodose’s Subcut features lets you check compatibility for subcutaneous administration & offers you a list of compatible medications. *Features marked with a ‘*’ are only available for subscribers of the Pro version.

10. Orthodose’s Benzo Switcher offers you a safer way to do this by using conversion ratios used by your peers, and by providing information about the respective bioavailabilities of benzodiazepines.

11. Orthodose is the all-in-one app for palliative care pain management.

12. Orthodose comes complete with an opioid converter that takes alternative ratios derived from Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) into account.

13. Use Orthodose to calculating conversions for Morphine, Oxycodone, Hydromorphone, Tapentadol, Buprenorphine, Alfentanil, Fentanyl, Sufentanil, Codeine, Tramadol, Dihydrocodeine, Pethidine, Hydrocodone, Diamorphine, and Methadone.
