1. I've been denied benefits due to inability to get documents in on time simply because the portal won't work.UPDATED: App is working properly & the new features are great! Love being able to see my balance & transactions without making a phone call...able to delete an app (that have the info) and free up some phone space.

I log in to try to renew my benefits and there's no option to renew and it just keeps on circling over and over I had to call and renew over the phone and then try 7 times through the app to upload the pictures because the app kept on crashing The Web version isn't any better Too many bugsThis app could be very helpful, but at times it is extremely frustrating.

3. Opted for pdf scanned forms taken from my phone to upload and I got the same repeat error over and over that they were unable to upload documents at this time, please try again later.

4. Great improvement! Thank you.2019 - App does not sync with desktop program, nor does it sync with the phone system used by TX Health & Human Services, making it extremely difficult to use any one of them.

5. I can't login to upload any forms or other necessary documents.The app keeps on freezing in the middle of trying to report changes.

6. It could be helpful as it won't take much time as it does to call on the phone to check the balance.

7. The option to take a photo doesn't keep the whole picture in view that you take, locating information in the app depending on what it is could be better, and documents that need updating can be viewed but not filled out through the app.

8. Oh, I HATE that you can basically only go Forward OR Backward to whichever page/section of the Application you are trying to complete, instead of being able to jump from section to section! That alone makes completing the entire App a nightmare.

9. the portal to send documents, however, is extremely frustrating as it never seems to work correctly.

10. Finally with last update, you are able to copy and send upto 10 images at one time.

11. I lost more information backing up to reach the pages I had to change.Pictures of forms from the app are absolutely unusable.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Your Texas Benefits Issues

1. Fix Your Texas Benefits Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Your Texas Benefits: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Your Texas Benefits App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Your Texas Benefits" » Open Your Texas Benefits » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Your Texas Benefits » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Your Texas Benefits app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Your Texas Benefits servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Your Texas Benefits" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Your Texas Benefits app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Your Texas Benefits might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Your Texas Benefits. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Your Texas Benefits then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Your Texas Benefits not working


2. Fix Your Texas Benefits Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Your Texas Benefits be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Your Texas Benefits not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Your Texas Benefits may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • My name is Andrea Murria. Please delete any open applications I have with YourTexasBenefits under the GDPR Act (penalty of 4% annual turnover under GDPR for non-compliance). I no longer wish to apply to have 2 open applications to which I have received no response. I could have starved by now if it weren't for the church donations. Please notify me when this request has been executed at amurria2961@redacted.

  • I need this account deleted, I am unable to use this account. I Filed for the SNAP and Medicare and never got a response for this office in Port Arthur Texas. I went to the office 4 times and was told I could not get emergency stamps and I had to wait for the card in the mail. I never got an interview so I called and got the interview and I still didn't get a card in the mail. After 75 days they finally gave me a card the card was cloned and all of my stamps was stolen on my second deposit. So I called the fraud deposit and canceled the card and was issued a new card. I was issued the new card in the mail and received it in 5 days. The fraud department informed me that there was never a card mailed out to me. When I log in to my account it is still showing I am in online interview and I am unable to view any of my information. 1422395486 03/03/2023 03:02 AM

  • I need to delete the account under username: Adriel19! Date of birth: 01/30/2019, I was trying to access my sons Medicaid benefits and accidentally ended up creating an account with his name and there is no information regards to him. So I no longer need it and am not comfortable keeping it open with his personal information on it.

  • I would like to delete my Texas Benefits Account because it will not let me confirm my identity and it will not let me make any changes to my submitted application nor will it let me cancel the applications. I messed up on my application and I need it to be canceled and the only other way I can think of getting it canceled is by deleting my whole account.
