1. Easy to navigate and very easy to look up my past visit information, test results, request appointments and refill prescriptions.

2. It has a wide range of features from keeping up with past and future appointments, test results, and contacting your medical team.

3. I can answer a lot of my own questions with this app and spend less time on the phone.This makes keeping up with my appointments, care, and contacting my doctor's about anything and everything so much easier.

4. IMPROVEHorrible , very complicated , useless , you need a computer genius to navigate it and still gets nowhere , I never was able to accomplish anything I wanted to do and always logged out after a lot of frustration without doing what I was trying to do .

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Patient Gateway Issues

1. Fix Patient Gateway Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Patient Gateway: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Patient Gateway App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Patient Gateway" » Open Patient Gateway » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Patient Gateway » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Patient Gateway app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Patient Gateway servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Patient Gateway" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Patient Gateway app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Patient Gateway might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Patient Gateway. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Patient Gateway then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Patient Gateway not working


2. Fix Patient Gateway Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Patient Gateway be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Patient Gateway not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Patient Gateway may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
