1. Tried to create an account to pay a bill and no matter how many times I input the verification captcha, or made sure to follow all the password rules, or double check my account number, or manually input my email because some sites won't detect it if you input it using auto complete... It kept telling me there was a verification error and to check the fields.

2. I had to call because I couldn't login, the Connect person told me I didn't have an account even though I have been and NYP patient for a little over a year.

3. Healthcare in America!One complaint so far: WHY BOTHER offering "remember me" as an option when it NEVER remembers me!? Every freaking time I have to login with my username, password, and checking the "remember me" option... Every.

6. Whoever out the app together must have did it for people like myself, thank you for preparing this easy to navigate app!!! 👍❤👍❤👍❤👍❤I requested medical records and still have not been forwarded to my primary provider.

7. I must say though that the test results section is one of the best compared to the other portals I/'ve use/d.I kind of find using the app refreshing because I am not very computer literit.

11. It is patient rights to get treatment at the time of visit NOT AFTER.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix NYP Connect Issues

1. Fix NYP Connect Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart NYP Connect: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the NYP Connect App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "NYP Connect" » Open NYP Connect » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for NYP Connect » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear NYP Connect app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from NYP Connect servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "NYP Connect" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check NYP Connect app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, NYP Connect might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall NYP Connect. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall NYP Connect then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing NYP Connect not working


2. Fix NYP Connect Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make NYP Connect be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to NYP Connect not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, NYP Connect may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
