Why should I report an Issue with Twidere for Twitter/Mastodon?

Its ability to work with multiple accounts is handy if you're a member of more than one instance (swipe in from the left to open the panel, then Accounts, then "+" in the top right to add an extra account).A good replacement for Tweetcaster, which I used for years but now won't install on my new phone.

2. Overall, it's been great for years, and with support being picked up again, I'm hoping to use it for years yet.This app used to be the absolute best for Android, but I noticed I stopped receiving tweet notifications in a timely manner, despite all my settings being correct.

5. Apparently, the act of automatically loading images (like Twitter does) instead of hiding ALL images behind a plain "load image/media" button causes the app to crash within 2 seconds of loading EVERY TIME YOU OPEN IT.

6. In fact, auto-update doesn't seem to work at all, but I'm not bothered about that as I'm happy to manually update on opening.I really liked the app for a while.

8. The real problem is that it is not supporting my direct messages even a little.generally a very nice app but it seems to have stopped connecting to my account and won't give me the chance to fix that.

1. Fix Twidere Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Twidere: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Twidere App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Twidere" » Open Twidere for Twitter/Mastodon » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Twidere » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Twidere for Twitter/Mastodon app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Twidere servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Twidere for Twitter/Mastodon" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Twidere app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Twidere might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Twidere. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Twidere then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Twidere not working

2. Fix Twidere Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Twidere be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Twidere not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Twidere may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
