About HTD Lync

1. For Lync 6v3 and Lync 12v3 that are used in combination with an HTD Door Interface, set which zones hear, or don’t hear, the doorbell or custom music files when the zone is currently powered off.

3. Create groups of zones to set a common source, set a common volume, or relatively control volume across multiple zones.

4. Create audio scenes called presets that set up one or more zones in your home with a single button press.

5. Power on all zones to their previous state with a single button press.

6. Power off all zones with a single button press.

7. Mute/Un-Mute all zones with a single button press.

8. Shortcut buttons are provided to popular music services and other apps, making it easy to toggle between selecting what you want to hear and where you want to hear it.

1. I use this with a 12-zone system in my home.Getting an error saying activity not found for uri when trying to open a shortcut.

2. We have 10 zones and 28 speakers throughout the house and it is no problem to control the entire system from the app.

3. My husband has the iPhone version, and it performs the same way on his.Very happy with the app and system.

4. Would like to see broader controls but with so many devices that can be connected to the amps, it would be a problem to program the app! If we ever move we'll buy again.Giving average rating for now.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix HTD Lync Issues

1. Fix HTD Lync Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart HTD Lync: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the HTD Lync App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "HTD Lync" » Open HTD Lync » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for HTD Lync » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear HTD Lync app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from HTD Lync servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "HTD Lync" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check HTD Lync app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, HTD Lync might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall HTD Lync. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall HTD Lync then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing HTD Lync not working


2. Fix HTD Lync Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make HTD Lync be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to HTD Lync not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, HTD Lync may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
