1. This problem isn't new as I can see from other customers feedback.I find the app too intrusive, it requires providing personal information, requests to run in the background, send push notifications.... The fact that we are requested by a public school to install an app on our personal phones with all those permissions, just so that the school communicates with us, is ludicrous.

2. E.g Outlook-Integration or Klapp internal Calendar FunctionNot match used it, but I get messages or E-Mails from others and it is very easy to use; overall it is very secure app.Slow, even though I've read all my new mail, it still says, there's new mail.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Klapp Issues

1. Fix Klapp Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Klapp: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Klapp App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Klapp" » Open Klapp - School communication » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Klapp » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Klapp - School communication app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Klapp servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Klapp - School communication" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Klapp app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Klapp might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Klapp. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Klapp then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Klapp not working


2. Fix Klapp Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Klapp be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Klapp not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Klapp may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
