Why should I report an Issue with Bridgefy - Offline Messages?

1. Keep up the good work! Edited: I love the new update! I'm about to travel internationally with my family for the summer and I feel good knowing we'll be able to chat no matter what the WiFi or data situation is where we are!It's a very appealing and user-friendly app that is essential in various critical scenarios.

The same happened on both phones which are on different versions of android so I'm pretty sure it's not just a fluke - the app is just totally broken.Fake advertising, it claims it works without internet, however when you install you need an internet connection.... It also only works over Bluetooth, not over wifi like the app "briar" which truly doesn't require internet.

3. Genius!doesn't work, messages sent to public chat aren't sent, can't see iphone 10cm awayDoesn't work.

4. However if one party is out of range the message doesn't re-send, so you can only really chat when both of you are looking at your phones - it won't update in the background and anything sent will be lost.

9. And i found that it never worked reliably but i thought i was making progress when i figured out that you need to close and reopen the app once all the necessary settings were on (BT & Location).

1. Fix Bridgefy Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Bridgefy: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Bridgefy App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Bridgefy" » Open Bridgefy - Offline Messages » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Bridgefy » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Bridgefy - Offline Messages app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Bridgefy servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Bridgefy - Offline Messages" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Bridgefy app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Bridgefy might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Bridgefy. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Bridgefy then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Bridgefy not working

2. Fix Bridgefy Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Bridgefy be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Bridgefy not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Bridgefy may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
