1. it's free and so was the phone, but i wish i was still paying 1500yen a month for YMobile (which was super good.)Why is the email app is not separated from Rakuten Link? For the people who don't want to use Link won't be able to us this email.
2. So here was the cause of the "defensive" response: [The Rakuten Link app m]ostly works pretty well,The reception as well as the communication between parties in general is substandard and sometimes impossible to connect.
3. If i didnt need a Japanese phone for work i wouldve trashed this app and the rakuten phone it came hardwired and preinstalled on ages ago.Sometimes OK, most of the time subpar.
4. This needs to be sorted out.Suffers pretty much from annoying delays when exchanging messages with other Rakuten Link users.
5. My original review appears at the end, but my reaction to the reply of "the developer" is "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." I started with positive feelings towards Rakuten, but now I suspect it is too late to cure my negative feelings.
6. In my case, my pixel phone has a better call and sms including spam call and sms filtering and live translation using AI.
7. I've tried every guide, contacted Rakuten support, even looked at the XML file, and still can't do it! Please fix this, otherwise the app is so annoying to use.Unlink your account from this app before doing an MNP to a different carrier.
8. The symptoms are the case bidirectionally. It works OK, with some bugs (mostly that I don't receive phone calls occasionally).
9. The only advantage is that you get free calls and sms within Japanmost of the time a great app with good quality sound.
10. it's a little quiet, and for some reason doesn't have good reception near Yodobashi Camera in Umeda but other than that, it's all good.
11. Otherwise you won't be able to make calls. Now a second edit: I visited the link.
