1. I can erase extra tinted areas and paint it BACK ON of I went too far, but it won't allow me to paint in the parts the app missed?? This is a HUGE problem and makes an otherwise great editing app often unusable.This app goes beyond what I was expecting, it doesn't distort facial features into someone I no longer recognize.

Maybe in time the creators can add additional emotions to the face options like frightened, surprised, confident, shy....all and all it's the overall best I've tried.My friend has this app on his iPhone and he's able to save presets and has a retouching tool and I'm sure other features as well that aren't available on my Android.

I'm a pro user, the cost of paying for the pro version isn't too much imo for how often I use it, however, there seems to be a limit on how many photos you want to edit, from reafing around it looks like that limit is around 25 photos a day! which is insane, why isn't it either higher, or limitless for pro users! I would rate 5*s, but this limit is a huge roadblock, especially if you pay to use it, it needs fixing!Fabulous.

4. Reversing the view with the resultant changes gives an improvement of the recurring photo of the new facial aspect you want, as well as an updated picture of the face you're using to morph.

5. I just don't understand why I can't make corrections to the hair color? When you use the hair color option and it misses spots, there is an option for "erase" and "paint", but you can't actually paint in the missing pieces, so some of the photos don't look right.

6. I would say do better but you'll probably make it worse as usual.*Update to dev response* YOUR FREE OPTIONS ARE ASKING FOR PRO WHEN TRYING TO APPLY THE "FREE" CHANGES.

7. Lots of options, the smile option makes the whole face smile instead of just the mouth.

8. What's the point now of using the "free" options if you have to have a Pro subscription to apply them.

9. As far as presets go, this means I have to make every single adjustment every time I want to edit a photo - I can't just click "apply preset" or something like that.

10. It is great for improving one's own selfie by using another picture of yourself with equivalent aspects but with a better smile or larger eyes for example.

11. For free version: Im a huge fan of the overlay options.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix FaceApp Issues

1. Fix FaceApp Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart FaceApp: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the FaceApp App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "FaceApp" » Open FaceApp: Perfect Face Editor » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for FaceApp » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear FaceApp: Perfect Face Editor app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from FaceApp servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "FaceApp: Perfect Face Editor" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check FaceApp app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, FaceApp might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall FaceApp. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall FaceApp then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing FaceApp not working


2. Fix FaceApp Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make FaceApp be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to FaceApp not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, FaceApp may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

I applied for a free trial and forgot to remove it, since then I've only used it once. It automatically took 60 dollars off my account which is very inconvenient for me, I would love a refund, please. I've been trying to contact someone to help me since yesterday but I haven't received any help yet, so it's getting a little frustrating.

Hi my youngest Daughter has downloaded the app on her sisters account with out permission, she deleted it straight away but the funds still came out my daughters account I would like the funds put back into her account please as the app was not used and my daughter is under age
