1. The font used in the STAYAWAY part of the logo could also be a better one as this is Ryanair's font. This app is horrible.I understand there were good intentions behind this but this drains the battery of your phone and since most people don't even use it, it loses it's only feature which is to detect proximity to other users. It also requires for you to have your Bluetooth on at all times and that only drains your battery faster and on another note...the first thing the apps asks you is to turn off the battery draining notifications which is the main problem of this app.The app is designed to protect personal data while helping to trace possible Covid contacts.
2. Great idea, but a couple of issues: first, having to keep the bluetooth on at all times for it to work is a stretch for the device and secondly there is no closing button or log out button and this app wouldn't allow the buttons of my phone to show.
3. The user only needs to be connected to the internet once a day to update their risk assessment and while it requires Bluetooth to remain on in order to anonymously and securely collect data from people physically nearby, it is not a geolocation tracker.
4. However because it requires to be on in the background (which is how it is useful) it would be great if the app could first provide clear instructions to properly configure it (it is worthless otherwise) and then to monitor if it is working correctly (via for example a countdown of how long it is running correctly in the background, etc).
5. With my current cellphone the Bluetooth usage needed by the app to work is so low that I have not noticed any difference in charging since downloading.Amazing idea but it's not working 100%.
6. Futhermore, it requires users to have location and bluetooth active at all times.
7. I have a 2 years old Huawei and my battery (full) was drastically over with Bluetooth, GPS and internet.
8. It's just cumbersome that on android, location has to be on, besides bluetooth, for it to work, even tho it doesn't use it.
9. If not, the users get bombarded by notifications.Drains the battery fast.
10. Or for example, If I am alone at home, I didn't need this app notifying about it needs and consuming my battery all the time.It does what it has to do well.
11. Not perfect, but better.Great idea, and it make what it says, but it spends a lot of battery.
