1. Also multiple errors with different test results where UCSD can't talk to UCSD.Overall the video is very choppy compared to apps like zoom and Google Hangouts and Skype.

2. So overall the app works and is a good way to connect with my doctor, however I think it needs to be a little bit more efficient to improve the quality of the video and the experience.It was great until the latest update.

7. I was brought to UCSD, they reported me to the DMV, my license is going to get suspended (for obvious reasons) which makes my life incredibly difficult.

8. Why do you have that ability disabled??? Now what is this? I try to paste some text into a message to my doctor and I get this message: "Special Characters Not Supported.

9. I can no longer access anything from the app.I need the ability to copy text from the messages.

11. The app provides lots of information that is very easy to access.So I've been through a lot of 🧠 trauma, and recently I suffered a seizure.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MyUCSDHealth Issues

1. Fix MyUCSDHealth Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MyUCSDHealth: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MyUCSDHealth App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MyUCSDHealth" » Open MyUCSDHealth » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MyUCSDHealth » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MyUCSDHealth app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MyUCSDHealth servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MyUCSDHealth" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MyUCSDHealth app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MyUCSDHealth might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MyUCSDHealth. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MyUCSDHealth then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MyUCSDHealth not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MyUCSDHealth be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MyUCSDHealth not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MyUCSDHealth may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
