Melitta Customer Insights

1. What happened to the upgrade testing? Will reinstallApp just updated, looks a lot better and Bluetooth connection is a lot more stable but they ruined two key features: 1) immediately starts brewing a coffee when you select a recipe now meaning you can't alter its settings or even browse! 2) can't navigate away from the brewing screen to look at more recipes etc or it cancels the coffee being made.

Apart from that it's perfect as is Barista TS.Initially Bluetooth stability issues now testing as mentioned in this forum to initiate the pairing from within the app.An annoying point is when making changes to the user profile on different beverages.Although it seems to save the changes (if checking the setting in the machine) it appears that they are not saved especially if you navigate within the same meniu(for ex.

3. Is it really that difficult to make it work, getting me to rate an app when I'm trying to get my morning coffee unsuccessfully may not result in the best of reviews..Just bought my second Melitta, the TS Smart as I wanted to be able to select through my phone.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Melitta Issues

1. Fix Melitta Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Melitta: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Melitta App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Melitta" » Open Melitta® Connect » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Melitta » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Melitta® Connect app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Melitta servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Melitta® Connect" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Melitta app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Melitta might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Melitta. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Melitta then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Melitta not working


2. Fix Melitta Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Melitta be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Melitta not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Melitta may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
