2. Build with Jami on your IoT project: re-use the universal communications technology of Jami with its portable library on your system of choice.
3. Jami (a GNU package) is a universal and distributed communication platform which respects the freedoms and privacy of users.

1. So as a work around you can go to the file using file explorer on Android choose the file and share using Jami - this works. It's an awesome app but the messages aren't deleted please implement the delete for all feature with no "this message has been deleted" and it will be the perfect go to messaging app.Mostly good and useful app.
2. But for true peer to peer communication disable TURN and use STUN instead.Great communication app with great idea behind it's open distributed and secure technology, however still needs some tweaks and fixes to make it even more stable and complete, like more consistent support for Bluetooth headset, maybe on more devices like mine Moto G8 Plus; as I did not manage to make it working.
3. Multiplatform text voice and video ok file transfers never seem to work for me on any platform.
4. It provide quiet good image quality for video calls also.Has big potential, it has everything you would expect a chat app to have besides group text chats at this time.
5. Visit your phone's battery optimisation and make sure Jami is not optimised for battery - if not the phone will kill the app and when you reopen the app to send - nothing happens 5.
6. Disable STUN After doing all this - it will work like a charm unless you have some other network issues.
7. Pity, it would have been what many of us need. Please fix the notification thingy 🙏! I've already convinced 4 of my family members to switch to Jami knowing it respects privacy.
8. The desktop app has a rather large minimum window size however, and sent messages only appear on the device you send from.
9. I look forward to a more stable version of this app.I love the concept of a decentralized network but this just doesn't work at all.
10. For people complaining about images/files not being transferred - drag and drop doesn't work - it is a known bug.
11. In 90% of the time simple text messages are simply not delivered and are lost.
