Wellcare+ Customer Insights

1. Is there a late fee ( if you receive the notice on the 21st but it was due on the 20th was there a late fee?) The third party biller states that there will probably be a service charge for the billing BUT they don't list it.

2. Even the Wellcare website is difficult to use.Drug cost lookup is USELESS!!!! Update didn't help the issue.

3. There is no transparency in billing; they give a total but don't indicate what it's for, two months, one month and fees? Billing is through a third party and again there is no transparency.

4. Quite often the part of the app I'm trying to use is not working - I get a lot of 'we're sorry, try again later' messages.Can not set up wellcare+ It says it is sending me a verification code by email but I don't receive any.

5. If the app improves somewhere down the road, will gladly update.Not impressed with billing.

6. Also, now there are server issues (ID card unavailable, etc) probably due to high volume after the update.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Wellcare+ Issues

1. Fix Wellcare+ Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Wellcare+: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Wellcare+ App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Wellcare+" » Open Wellcare+ » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Wellcare+ » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Wellcare+ app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Wellcare+ servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Wellcare+" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Wellcare+ app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Wellcare+ might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Wellcare+. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Wellcare+ then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Wellcare+ not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Wellcare+ be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Wellcare+ not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Wellcare+ may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
