I signed up but it just is loading....Have used this app for 1yr and now it wont open or let me sign in, please fixForgot password cant sign in there's no forgot password button to reset itI have to create an account and give my information to you just to use the app? No thanks.Best app for anyone with bowel issuesI want to delete my account and cannot find instructions or get any response from the so-called help email address.

2. Above everything, the app is straightforward to use.The best way to track for your bowel movements and to see maybe what foods are causing issues.Sadly no way to export data for use in other software (CSV, Excel, etc)I had to do a factory reset on my phone and now I can login and use it.

3. It keeps records of data so well that I put the medication that I need to take as well as time that I should take, and it sends me reminds of when I should take it.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix GI Monitor Issues

1. Fix GI Monitor Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart GI Monitor: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the GI Monitor App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GI Monitor" » Open GI Monitor » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GI Monitor » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear GI Monitor app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GI Monitor servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GI Monitor" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check GI Monitor app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GI Monitor might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall GI Monitor. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GI Monitor then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GI Monitor not working


2. Fix GI Monitor Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GI Monitor be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GI Monitor not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GI Monitor may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
