1. For instance, if you've cast a spell that does 4&6+4 damage, you just click on the number 4, next click on D6 to indicate you're rolling 4d6 up to this point, and finally enter in the modifiers, in this case +4 and then PRESS [⠀ROLL⠀] 🎶 FANFARE 🎵 you've just tolled 4d6 +4!This is the best most extensive dice rolling app I've found.
2. Most of them simulate the dice rolling in 3D on the screen, which can look cool, but for some stupid reason they won't calculate the results of the roll until the dice stop moving.
3. This is hands down the most useful dice app I've ever seen thus far! You need this app if your side of the GM screen is mostly taken up by dice or a dedicated space to roll them.Once I saw how cool this ap is, I upgraded to the paid version.
4. I love that it holds history and that you can categorize and save dice rolls you use a lot.I also discovered that it has a library of sound effects (don't know if that's free) so you can assign things like swords and arrows hitting a target to weapons.
5. For instance, the classic method for rolling a character stat in D&D is to roll four six-sided dice, and drop the lowest die.
6. It's real nice being able to create whatever macros I want, and the color coding of the dice is nice, though it'd be nice to be able to choose the colors, instead of it depending on what die is rolled first.
7. Love it.It's quick to type up different dice rolls, including keep lows or highs.
8. It's fast and easy to make quick rolls weither large dice pools or single D20 rolls.
9. Add that, and I'll upgrade and increase my rating, but it's still a good number generator.Pro users, and love the apps foundation but definitely still missing some things before it's "complete" for instance the name of the app is CritDice yet there is no function to actually "crit" (change any results after a roll) rather ironic.
10. Overall the app is extremely nice to use, when you have to roll large amounts of dice.
11. Piles of dice taking up space on your table? With Critdice say goodbye to stray D4's! The adds are non intrusive for the free version.
