About XChange Data

1. XChange data simplifies your access to the XChange user interface to manage your data communication via satellite.

XChange Data Customer Insights

1. The latest update somehow made it even more slow without fixing any of the issues.Can you please incorporate a built in firewall so that whenever we connect to the satellite, only selected apps would be allowed to access the internet, all other apps and updates wont be consuming data.

2. Very sluggish performance (using a regular web browser is actually faster for connecting), constant glitches, freezups, not remebering saved password and user name, reporting false data, etc.

3. Hope the devs will fix the timeout issue and work on app stability during log-in process.Drops out every 30 seconds, have to log into wifi then log into app then 10 seconds later you have to start all over again.

4. Looks like some novice/amateur has developed the app.Completely useless, sometimes after I've connected to the WiFi I have to restart the app 10 times for it to switch on to the login screen.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix XChange Data Issues

1. Fix XChange Data Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart XChange Data: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the XChange Data App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "XChange Data" » Open XChange Data » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for XChange Data » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear XChange Data app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from XChange Data servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "XChange Data" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check XChange Data app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, XChange Data might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall XChange Data. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall XChange Data then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing XChange Data not working


2. Fix XChange Data Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make XChange Data be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to XChange Data not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, XChange Data may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
