1. And the biggest issue for me with this browser is that it freezes or hard-crashes on heavy HTML5 webpage content (like news articles), embedding links, infinite image scrolling, and Bing or other search engines that are heavy on graphics are almost a guaranteed way to cause this browser to stop working, thus forcing me to restart the browser manually in order to use it.Deleted, tried other apps.
2. Also advise checking out the desktop application.Tried nearly a dozen other browsers both on Windows and Android, and settled on Vivaldi.
3. It's also very snappy thanks to the chromium engine. It is a great private browser that has this version built specifically for Android, but it is plagued with software issues.
4. The speed dial was something I was missing from desktop and none of the other Android browsers I've used have as nice of a way to view bookmarks.
5. And somwtimes when launching a new by long pressing the tabs button the app hangs up for a couple of seconds (loads the tab but can't interact with it).Easily my favorite browser for Android.
6. It has many more cool features like a built in email client, calendar, and tracker and ad blocking.)Edit: After years I'm looking into other browsers.
7. That being said it does come with a decent adblock, darkmode, sync, tab management, and some extras like reading list, notes, and translate. My favorite Chromium-based brpwser for Android.
8. Vivaldi Android also has the option for a bottom address and menu bar, which makes it more ergonomic to use on a phone.
9. I used Firefox before but this is the first browser I that I've tried that feels good on a phone.
10. But other than that, it's what I expect for a mobile version of Vivaldi.I really like the User Interface and how much you can customize it.
11. Vivaldi on Android is fundamentally broken on pixel.Very good app.
