1. The fact that I can play old NES classic games on my TV again is more than enough to merit a 5β rating! One can't do speedruns on this emulator though! ππΌThis app doesn't recognise .nes emulator files, I've tested other Nes emulators to be sure it's not my phone with the issue and the other NES Emulators recognise the files perfectly fine and run the games no issues, Meaning it's CastNES that has the issue.
2. As soon as the developers fix this issue, I'll be more than happy to purchase the pro version.Nostalgia reloaded! Relive the classic NES games on your Chromecast! The phone acts like the controller - not the best placement of buttons nor the original retro button placement but it is still fun despite the lag in the commands execution on the screen.
3. Might be incompatible with the new Android verion. This is a very clever app, I don't know how you achieved it, casting the game's visual to the tv and turning the phone's screen into a game controller is utter genius! It works really well, I have a modern phone and there's zero delay on button presses etc plus beautifully emulated retro sound.
4. There is a slight lag, but the real issue with playing games is not being able to hold down actual buttons, which makes things like trying to run and jump in Super Mario Brothers difficult if not impossible via this method of play.
5. Hopefully they will fix this bug as being able to play .NES roms on my TV seems like such and awsome idea.Single player only, lag on older devices (G5) but great on S10+ I tried a usb ps4 kids controller with no success but on screen control works well enough.
6. Pretty cool app though :)Runs games smoothly and it does cast perfectly, but it has a deal breaker for me: although it does recognize a xbox 360 controller which i use with on my S8 with an adaptor (i just cant get used to the screen controller), the app can't handle it and closes every time i try plugging it in.
7. Then the phone could act as a wireless console.two biggest issues I have is 1: it doesn't come with the games you have to find them from websites that you can't tell if it's safe or not.
8. the thing i would ask of you to make the biggest improvement is being able to move the buttons and resize them on the screen.
9. If you're playing a game that uses really simple controls, like maybe Tetris, this might work fine.
10. You can definitely relive a few minutes of nostalgia, but if you're wanting to seriously game, get some other way to play them.
11. Note that this keeps your screen on, so it will burn through your battery, so make sure you're charging it while playing.I works fairly well.
