ViHealth Customer Insights

1. Two phones ago the app was slow and wonky, but functional; on my last phone the app would take an exorbitant amount of time to open (it would show its splash screen for a good... 15 seconds) and would crash frequently while syncing; and on my current phone the splash screen goes away fast but the app always crashes after 10 seconds or so and has never even attempted to sync, much less completed it successfully.The device works very well.

2. My last three nights were 4 minutes 1 minute and then last night I checked it played with the settings checked it again after 5 minutes it was working went to bed and a minute later it stopped recording.I've been using this for ~2.5 years - the app gets worse every time its updated.

3. Please pay attention to user reviews and fix the problems.After the update my previous readings are gone and it will not login for remote data to see if it was saved there.

4. The csv data export also has problems.Has Worked right since last update.

5. I want the old app back! 4*Update 04/30/23 Customer Service worked with me through email last December to resolve the problems from the app new version update.

6. Use the local setting, not the account login or cloud backup that way the data stays on your phone and is readily accessible.

7. I set it up everything's good but 6 minutes later it disconnects doesn't reconnect and all the data from the night is gone.

8. It was much easier to see the changes over time as I become more fit and lose weight.Please fix the problems of recent updates or allow users to roll back to the previous versions for now.

9. It means I don't have to stay awake all night worrying, which is great.1*The update that just occurred 12/16/22 is awful.

10. Two stars because the data is very useful and I've been able to force it to work with workarounds, but overall this app needs an overhaul.

11. It appears that the update is to collect more personal data.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ViHealth Issues

1. Fix ViHealth Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ViHealth: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ViHealth App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ViHealth" » Open ViHealth » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ViHealth » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ViHealth app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ViHealth servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ViHealth" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ViHealth app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ViHealth might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ViHealth. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ViHealth then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ViHealth not working


2. Fix ViHealth Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ViHealth be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ViHealth not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ViHealth may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
