Why should I report an Issue with Vent - Express yourself freely?

3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. the search doesn't work or will show you vents that got deleted that you can't even read, it never sends the confirmation email no matter how many times you click it, and now with the new update you can't upload a profile picture bc it says "permission denied" but there isn't even an option in settings to allow permission for that.

2. Overall, the app is fun and so far the community in the app is niceI love this app, of course I never had the app in the "glory days" but I think it's great! You can vent about whatever is going on and maybe even meet new friends! There's a few issues though.

3. It's hard to find new groups other than the previewed ones unless you know the name of it (a group category option where you can scroll through the groups would be nice).

4. Also disappointed by all the themes and emotions disappearing and having to pick a category to make a post.i love the amount of emotions there are & all the different colors.

5. That's all tolerable, but the biggest problem for me is not being able to make the same post in multiple communities-- so me and quite a few other people need to repost the same thing 3 times just to reach everyone we wanted to.

6. You get a really personalized feed, and it has so many more helpful features to block muted words and filter things you dont want to see.

7. It's overall a pretty good app, just wish there were those minor fixes.It's only worth it for the friends I've made online and keeping track of events through the week.

8. After the update, they fixed some features, and now I find the app just as loveable as it was in the past :) I'm happy to be staying for more years to come.

9. I'm really looking forward to seeing this app grow again!was a good way to rant about my feelings for a while, but the app was made pretty unbearable after the UI update.

1. Fix Vent Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Vent: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Vent App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Vent" » Open Vent - Express yourself freely » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Vent » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Vent - Express yourself freely app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Vent servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Vent - Express yourself freely" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Vent app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Vent might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Vent. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Vent then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Vent not working

2. Fix Vent Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Vent be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Vent not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Vent may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
