1. Glympse Express enables you to quickly share a temporary link so others can see your location on a live map.
2. Select a contact from your address book and Glympse Express creates a shortcut enabling you to send to that contact in the future with just a single tap.
3. Ever wished that you could add the temporary location feature from Glympse to WhatsApp, Google Hangouts, or Facebook Messenger? Well now you can!
4. Glympse Express creates a link to your live map and opens the app you selected so you can paste it into the appropriate conversation.
5. Open Glympse Express and simply select the app in which you wish to share location.
6. Recipients receive a link allowing them to view your location in real-time for the length of time you choose.
7. Best of all, recipients do not need the Glympse app or any special software to view your live map.
8. Share via WhatsApp, Google Hangouts, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, Line, Tango and more.
9. When the timer on your Glympse expires, your location is no longer visible.
10. Glympse Express has you covered there as well.
11. Prefer to send via SMS or email message?
1. Should be an "editors choice" !!I've used it for several years but lately it just stops or shuts down.No longer tracks my movementDoesn't allow permanent sharing, which is a very odd limitation.great app hands down .The Express version is all I need, or want.
2. But needs more clicks, so defeats the purpose of having all those shortcuts.Quick version if the excellent Glympse, but let down by not being able to add new messaging apps such as Telegram or Wickr.
3. Fail.My main usage was supposed to be for immediately sending an sms of my current location, unfortunately this doesn't seem to work using my default sms app (pulse sms).
4. If your app's not there, then Glympse Express is useless for you.Normally love this app better than the normal one, as it works a 1000X BETTER than the Original one.... Today need to uninstall and reinstall it.
5. Would be nice if it could communicate your location to non-smartphones somehow (texts?) and if the destination could be marked on the web-based map that recipients use to view your progress.
6. Update: Dec 2020- I think the devs have given up on this app seeing as it hasn't been updated since January 2019.
7. When you share your location, it just brings you to the website instead of sending you to the map of your location in real time.
8. Oh, a more intuitive function for canceling a Glympse would be nice.
9. Sent a Glympse to myself for 12 hours n checked it- shows where I was 3 hours ago.
10. The copy link function works fine.
11. Just keeps saying that it's creating a link .....for the past 2 hoursAwesome.
