1. I've tried things suggested in the help center and have even uninstalled and reinstalled the app more than once, but still can't get in to my courses that I've paid for! I did login on the actual website (using this same connection) and could see my courses, but it's much more convenient to be able to use the app!I initially gave this app a poor review yet didn't realize I never came back to adjust it even after my problem was solved.

2. This is annoying because the phone will start talking every time I want to check my email.I cannot get an answer from anyone.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Udemy Issues

1. Fix Udemy Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Udemy: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Udemy App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Udemy" » Open Udemy - Online Courses » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Udemy » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Udemy - Online Courses app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Udemy servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Udemy - Online Courses" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Udemy app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Udemy might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Udemy. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Udemy then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Udemy not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Udemy be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Udemy not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Udemy may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
