Why should I report an Issue with Loyal Books: audiobooks ebooks?

1. If you want to listen to free audiobooks from Loyal Books (aka Librivox), just download them as a podcast, using any of the excellent podcast catchers (Podcast Addict is my personal favorite).This version of app does not work as well as previous app.

2. Useless app! I love Librivox, but their app is 100% awful! It downloads the audiobooks, but deletes the file immediately (literally within two seconds)! If the books are free and in the public domain, why not allow users to listen without a data connection? Wish I could give this app zero stars.

My phone says that it's downloading files and that the download is complete and then when I go to play it, nothing is downloaded.The download function doesn't work at all - I've clicked on it, waited and it says it's fully downloaded - turned off my wi fi to check, and it was downloaded! When I open the app again to listen to the book, it's completely gone.

4. I'm really grateful for the free audio books, but I don't have any mobile connection during my commute, so if the download function can't be fixed it's no use.Same as Caitlyn.

5. Some books don't download at all, or stop midway and you have to keep it on the screen or the download stops.

6. So between the hang ups and the starting of new chapters I am constantly busy fiddling with the phone and eating my time so I get very little done.I love this app, and the wonderful work that it does.

10. When I am streaming, it will only play a few minutes and then stops and won't start again until the app has been completely closed and reopened, and sometimes not even then.

1. Fix Loyal Books Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Loyal Books: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Loyal Books App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Loyal Books" » Open Loyal Books: audiobooks ebooks » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Loyal Books » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Loyal Books: audiobooks ebooks app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Loyal Books servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Loyal Books: audiobooks ebooks" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Loyal Books app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Loyal Books might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Loyal Books. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Loyal Books then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Loyal Books not working

2. Fix Loyal Books Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Loyal Books be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Loyal Books not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Loyal Books may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
