1. Some of the books have fantastic narrators (such as Elizabeth Klett and Lars Rollander), but others (such as the History of Tom Jones: A Fieldling) have multiple narrators that vary from talented to painful to listen to.Responding to developer comment: By "audio focus" I mean the app's ability retain priority wrt the headset controls as long as no other audio/playback app is used in the interim, the phone isn't turned off/restarted, etc.
2. Therefore, whether fiction or non-fiction, you really get at the true essence of things.Edit: This app works well but having only the scrolling audio representation instead of a normal playback bar is intolerable if you get interrupted and have to rewind.
3. Ideally, one should be able to pause the playback for any length of time, then resume listening by just pressing pause/play, rather than having to activate the screen.I've used this for a few years and have largely been pleased with it.
4. At the end of each chapter is 40 minutes of "dead space" unless I manually advance the chapter.I greatly appreciate the range of audio books available for free on LibriVox.
5. It would be nice to have the option to export my shelves and preferences so I import them to a new account.Love the fact that I can continue along with daily activities but not miss out on great books.
6. Instead of just being able to slide the position on a playback bar, you have to scroll backwards minute by minute on the audio bar.
7. I will use it for that and listen in a different app.All the Scribl titles have long dead spots and the time stamps are wrong.
8. However, the app function is clunky and I frequently find myself having to find the last page where I left off listening.
9. Also, some weird things like starting at the same spot when it should have advanced, or shutting off when I lock the phone screen.
10. How I have recently had a concern these past few months whereas I am logged onto this app with my Google credentials, and there seems to be no way to change my login to a normal email address and password.
11. On the website I can type "Esperanto" in the search box and the page shows me all the titles (there's about 12).
