Don't waste your money on thisThis camera is not worth the price it only show black and white I have a SD card in their 128 megabyte but it's still just your black and white and I want you down there app on one device you cannot download it on another device this is a sorry camera and a sorry app and you do not have no way to contact customer service unless you email them and that's sorry Avast no one to buy this it's a waste of money $60 is a waste of moneyId give zero stars if I could .

2. Called help center and they said they'd call back to help figure it out and have not heard from them after 3 days!Thumbnails of motion record videos for Piranha IP camera are not shown, as well as can't change playing time of a video from its time slider.

3. I tried to connect it directly to oyr wifi, but it always says "The WIFI and password gas been sent to the device.

4. After saving a video to phone memory it says the video is saved to My Album, but nobody can not find those videos anywhere in the phone!Terrible exprience with the new app.

5. It really irritates me.When it works it has a great pic but most of the time it won't connect when I'm not at my business (where it is).

6. As soon as I put the camera on full screen the app stops working.

7. Now that's fixed the camera doesn't work.

8. Day one and ready to invest in anything else but this.I can see someone else's camera when I open the app.

9. Someone is talking through my camera although I'm the only one with permission to do so.

10. So the recording stop and don't work for a long time.

11. Please wait for a while whether the wifi setting is successful.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Kalay Issues

1. Fix Kalay Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Kalay: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Kalay App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Kalay" » Open Kalay » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Kalay » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Kalay app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Kalay servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Kalay" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Kalay app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Kalay might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Kalay. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Kalay then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Kalay not working


2. Fix Kalay Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Kalay be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Kalay not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Kalay may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
