1. Possibly because I didn't use voice calls - Ubigi SIM supports only data.Unsure what happened but after latest update app is stuck in landscape and identifying phone as a tablet (using pixel 7 pro, North America) Was working well before latest update.

2. It was just that in the applications it was not easy to activate the service using Wi-Fi mobile hotspot from another smartphone with another Ubigi account, on which the data service (Internet) was also activated befofe.

3. If they fix the account creation process then this would easily be a 5* experience.Used Ubigi for a Japan 10GB data only plan.

4. When I select 'sign up' the only option is 'connected car' which doesn't allow me to create an account.

5. I watched the tutorial video which shows how to set up an esim on an Android phone and it shows different options to what I have on the app.

6. When I replied that I had followed instructions (along with screen captures showing such), I was told to reboot my phone and try again.

7. Not sure if it's a firmware or hardware issue, just know that you might lose yourself in Google maps when you're underground; a bit more easily than if you purchased a separate SIM card.This is a review of the app not the service, which is brilliant.

8. I am deleting this app, their eSIM and moving on to a different company.I can't set up an account.

10. The account creation process is absolutely dire though, it's an exercise in frustration and the UX is truly awful.

11. In this case, the application was automatically logged into the account of the smartphone from which the Internet was shared.

1. Fix Ubigi Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Ubigi: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Ubigi App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Ubigi" » Open Ubigi: Travel eSIM & data plan » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Ubigi » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Ubigi: Travel eSIM & data plan app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Ubigi servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Ubigi: Travel eSIM & data plan" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Ubigi app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Ubigi might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Ubigi. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Ubigi then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Ubigi not working

2. Fix Ubigi Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Ubigi be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Ubigi not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Ubigi may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
