My Masjid Customer Insights

1. This app works fantastic with older devices with adhan sounding at the right time of my local masjid, however no matter what settings or permissions i use on samsung note 20 ultra, the adhan will not sound at the prayer times at all, it only sounds when you physically open the app, which makes it pointless to rely on when u lose track of time, i have given it all the maximum permissions, made sure the app is never put to sleep on battery settings.

2. It is successfolly installed but when I open the App it asks me to check internet connection, limited connectivity ! although it is connected to internerIts an awesome app but it loses service randomly.... Give a server connection error even tho i have internet.

3. Works perfectly with older devices but not new.It is amazing app and really easy to use (user friendly).Fantastic app for Masjid Display boards .. Very good support team.Great app.

4. Islamic Date (Moon) update time is Magrib, And in this app the islamic date(moon) changes at 12am, So I suggest to update this bug or issue and Show as proper Islamic Date.

5. But now after updating it, it won't start up and comes with error code: RC_COUNTRIES_API Request code: 15The App is very good when working.

6. Then it strats not to detect my internet connection by asking to check my internet connection and didn't start up.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix My Masjid Issues

1. Fix My Masjid Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart My Masjid: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the My Masjid App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "My Masjid" » Open My Masjid » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for My Masjid » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear My Masjid app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from My Masjid servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "My Masjid" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check My Masjid app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, My Masjid might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall My Masjid. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall My Masjid then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing My Masjid not working


2. Fix My Masjid Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make My Masjid be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to My Masjid not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, My Masjid may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
