TDMAX Customer Insights

1. If you get this just watch on the phone.I only use this app for watching football games, and I can't cast then to my chromecast.Awful app, lack of content, hangs constantly and LG webOS version of the app is terrible, doesn't even work... Also, require Wi-Fi to be able to stream? Come on, that decision should be up to the end user if they want to use and eat up all of their own mobile data, if there's a technical need for that then at least the developers should provide a reason on why... All in all, I paid it because there was no other choiceGenerally it won't work to watch channels streaming.

2. They are charging people to watch women soccer, and at this point women soccer does not have the same following as the men's soccer in Costa Rica.

3. After that I have received several messages like "server error", "event hasn't started yet" (this message during the games) and my favorite: "this event is available ONLY in Costa Rica and USING WiFi"!.

4. The quality is great, but they need to broadcast the games for free on their Facebook page.I paid to watch Qatar 2022.

5. The have incomplete programs/event, like the UEFA champions league or the Costa Rica man soccer league (this means only some matches are available).

6. The app in the smart tv's stores has to be the worst app I have ever used: sluggish and slow, it takes up to 1 minute to buffer the game, if it works at all; it randomly stops working, etc.

7. From time to time if you are lucky you can watch live events restarting every once in a while specially if casting.

8. Also content is filtered by your location (in or out Costa Rica)Works fine on phone.

9. BUT EVEN ONE OF THE WORST THING, IS THAT YOU LITERALLY GOT TO WAIT A DAY TO WATCH THE REPLAY ON THE APP.

10. To make matters worst i believe is being two games that they have not broadcast.

11. Most of the time won't work, even paying for upgrade package.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix TDMAX Issues

1. Fix TDMAX Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart TDMAX: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the TDMAX App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TDMAX" » Open TDMAX » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TDMAX » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear TDMAX app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TDMAX servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TDMAX" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check TDMAX app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TDMAX might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall TDMAX. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TDMAX then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TDMAX not working


2. Fix TDMAX Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TDMAX be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TDMAX not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TDMAX may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
