It was simply way better, and I would pay money to have the old one.So far so good, if you don't want any ads at all without paying, just don't click the option to have ads and exit the app ,and just don't use any features that ask you if you would like to watch ads, unless you want to use those other features of course then you'll just have to deal with the ads , or pay, but for the most part the bible alone is ad free, you can highlight, and they have 3 different Bibles you can download to read offline, and you also have text to speech options to read to youWell-designed & great source for learning 👌 Sometimes the pages look a little busy, mostly in dark mode with the blue bubbles on the top and sides.

Used to be able to do that now it just closes the app.Not a big fan of the newest update - needing an internet connection to read the KJV when you didn't use to is kind of ridiculous (EDIT: I have since been taught how to download for personal reading - however, I still much prefer the pre-update version since you didn't have to deal with that).

3. I love this app! I can highlight in different colors, read multiple translations, and take notes on individual verses as I read.

4. I wish the scrolling bar at the bottom turned transparent when done setting your preference or had the option to turn it off while keeping the ability to scroll.

5. I can't return to a previous chapter after reading a referenced verse in context.

6. I am so bummed.I love this app! I can highlight just a portion of a verse, whereas other apps only allow you to highlight the entire verse.

7. Also, some words are underlined or have an asterisk next to them, and when you select the word, it references other scripture or elaborates in some other way about what you're reading.

8. There's also a cool feature that let's you set the screen to automatically scroll, according to your reading speed.

9. I do think the new UI is much more interactive and accessible, so that's nice.It has become cluttered, and you can't make it reading focused.

10. Once you set the scroll speed you don't generally need to keep messing with it or need to see it.If zero were an option, it would be zero.

11. Also when I'm moving around the Bible from chapter to chapter, it'd be nice to be able to hit the back button and go back.

1. Fix Life Bible Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Life Bible: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Life Bible App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Life Bible" » Open Life Bible » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Life Bible » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Life Bible app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Life Bible servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Life Bible" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Life Bible app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Life Bible might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Life Bible. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Life Bible then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Life Bible not working

2. Fix Life Bible Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Life Bible be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Life Bible not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Life Bible may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
