1. Unfortunately there does not seem to exist alternatives for tablets. The app is okay, but the paid options include a 'lite' version that can't be upgraded to the full version and costs almost as much - so you end up having to pay twice if you buy lite without realising that it has no features and it only stays 'pro' for 12 months.
2. It's a subscription hiding as a purchase and that, to me, is unacceptable.Any app that requires a subscription gets an automatic 1 star! I know I'm going to get a developer response saying there is no subscription, but no ads for only 12 months, then pay for that again, is a subscription, no matter how you word it.
3. I like the idea of being able to use/access WhatsApp from a secondary device, i.e tablet, without having to transfer account across device.
4. If you're only using WhatsApp (like me), then "What's Web" is a much better value optionIt worked the first few days, freezing and lagging from time to time.
5. Under no circumstances is it a one of payment.Somewhat slower than expected and definitely a lot slower than the actual apps, such as WhatsApp, that are available inside it.
6. Either scrap the lite version or allow it to be upgraded, expensive for a subscription.
7. However, it says to upgrade for all bells and whistles and removal of adverts a one of payment of $5.49. is required, which is absolutely misleading as it only removes the adverts for 12 months, then you have to pay again.
8. I only tested with Whatsapp and it basically sets up and looks the same as if you were running it in a browser.
9. Is there a fix for this? My tablet is a 10.1 inch "FaceTel Q3" Room for improvement!I Skype keyboard doesn't work.
10. I deleted it the first time when it started blasting commercials on full volume, somehow overriding my silent mode.
11. When starting it and trying to connect to WhatsApp, hangs with spinning circle forever.
