1. SimplyText is texting, done better.
2. A great replacement app for the stock SMS messaging app for your phone. * Quick Reply window - to help you get you back to whatever you were doing on your phone faster. * Swipe to delete conversation threads and text messages. * Cool, clean fonts: Roboto Slab, Lato, Open Sans, Merriweather (more to come.. * Snooze Texts - Remind yourself to follow up on a text when you're not quite ready to handle it at that moment.
1. Limited bells and whistles… but stable quality text messaging. Two features I would like to see -- if I am viewing a page in a browser & want to share a link, ST would create a draft text containing the link & allow me to add additional comments (e.g., article title) to be added to the link message and allow me to send the message (default is that the message is automatically sent with only the link).
2. I know text message apps always left justify and right justify messages to show to/from, but that can be done with color bubbles and leaving 1/3 of the screen basically blank instead of filling that space with the content of the text always seems like a waste to me and causes unnecessary scrolling! 3.
3. I want one setting that lets me choose the sound for every text that comes through.. where did that go?Started crashing about an hour after use, and I can only fix it by uninstalling and reinstalling the app... Until I starts crashing again an hour later.
4. When I receive a text and Touch the notification, it brings me to the right thread but it does not bring me to the message that I just received so I end up having to scroll forever to find where this message is.
5. Only issue for me - the time that the message came in or was sent out is not recorded next to the text boxes! This is the only texting program I've ever seen without a time record.
6. I was previously able to choose one sound to be my notification sound if I received a text.
7. The latest issue is that when I get a text it picks whatever sound it wants as a notification sound.
8. A text blocker would be nice? Different contacts can be set up with different notifications however I would just like one notification for all texts no matter who they're from.
9. Adding it would make Simply Text a 5-star application!I've tried Textra, paid for Chomp, and several other SMS apps.
10. I am hard of hearing and I need a certain sound so that I can hear that I have received a text.
11. It appears I have to choose a sound for each and every contact and I just want one sound notification.
