1. The approach is by far the BEST to a singing app I've seen on Google Play; when they developed it, they found an interesting engaging way for people to sing and adjust their vocals, as in a sound booth! That's why I came back, re-downloaded it I'm glad I did! The improvements trully upped their game!! KUDOS STARMAKERMore social media than music, and music quality ranges from acceptable to terrible.
2. Speakers, earbuds, anything bluetooth, It WILL NOT sync your voice correctly! Most newer phone models do not have headphone jacks, so you're stuck just using the sound of your phone, and then it sounds horrible because the music is louder than your voice if you do that, plus the quality is terrible that way anyway.
3. No good! I just downloaded several minutes ago, sang about 5 songs but when listening back to the recording, the music is slower than my voice, it isn't matching up and it isn't me, im a great singer! What can be done about this, if i can't get it fixed im uninstalling.
4. Some of the more niche/obscure songs might be of lower quality, but more popular ones will have many versions in case you want to sing a low key acoustic version of a high key pop song.
5. I've wasted a lot of time trying multiple versions of songs to find one where the music doesn't suck.
6. I thought people were commenting on my covers and when I look, they all look like bots, like the pictures seem like they were taken from shutterstock or whatever... Also, this app wants to know everything about you like your birthday, location, and even relationship status? What does that have to do with singing a song??I downloaded it a year ago, was terribly disappointed in it.
7. I like this app but the music has to line up, it's too slow.It is a good app to sing, but sometimes the audio is not matched up with the lyrics and it can throw you off sometimes.

9. The scoring (when accurate) is pretty cool, which is the reason for the second star.If you think you're gonna use a bluetooth connection to sing on this app, you can forget it.

11. Rating went down bc I'm experience tech problems (the auto-tune keeps fluctuating in places it shouldn't, and also tends to go sharp or flat when it shouldn't), and the trouble-shooting advice wasn't helpful.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix StarMaker Issues
1. Fix StarMaker Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart StarMaker: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the StarMaker App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "StarMaker" » Open StarMaker: Sing Karaoke Songs » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for StarMaker » click "UPDATE".
- Clear StarMaker: Sing Karaoke Songs app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from StarMaker servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "StarMaker: Sing Karaoke Songs" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check StarMaker app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, StarMaker might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall StarMaker. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall StarMaker then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing StarMaker not working
2. Fix StarMaker Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make StarMaker be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to StarMaker not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, StarMaker may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
