1. There is a need of having some features such as, archiving messages,helpful answer texts etc.Besides it doesn’t show when did the text was received or sent,how minutes before,etc.There is also a restriction to reply the texts from the Notification bar above of the screen.I hope authority will add these function to make this app more handy and more popular.I was able to get the app, but I couldn't get past the Add Permissions part of the app.

2. Anyway, I'd press the button that lets the app access contacts, files, and other stuff, nothing would happen, so I tried doing it manually in Settings, went back on iMessages for Android, and I had the same problem; I couldn't get past the Add Permissions part of the app.

Plus, who the hell is going to pay money for a messaging app when the default ones that come for free usually cover all messaging (admittedly, some are incompatable, so you will sometimes need another) with 0 ads and 0 payment? As well, this seems to block messaging from things other than itself, since I had to get this so I can contact someone who uses it.

4. So upset!!! I tried to send a group message and it sent the message to all the contacts in thr group individually.

5. It wouldn't work on my Android phone to send or receive messages from iPhone users.

6. I also tried making a new group to add my brother Charlie Brown to the the chat but all that was there was 2 of "Sally Brown" with random numbers below it.

7. My phone is dual sim, and there's no option to see which of my numbers where the sender sent the message.

8. 0/10 would not recommendIve used the paid version of texture for several years now and it is hands down the best messaging app there is.

9. When I finished doing the first basics of the app, I kept pressing the button "Set as Default" and nothing would happen.

10. Tried both the purchase to remove ads and the purchase to upgrade and, just like with other reviewers, it did nothing.

11. Also, everytime I go into the conversation with my husband, it shows me messages from a over a year ago, and it takes a full 2 minutes to update to recent messages.

1. Fix Messages Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Messages: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Messages App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Messages" » Open Messages » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Messages » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Messages app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Messages servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Messages" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Messages app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Messages might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Messages. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Messages then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Messages not working

2. Fix Messages Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Messages be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Messages not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Messages may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
