1. The channel plays in portrait or landscape view and there is a soft button for forcing it to, but not the guide.App doesn't work.. on my phone I can actually watch TV but my guide doesn't even have half my channels.
2. I wonder how they supposedly have been highly ratedNegative zero stars! Dish Anywhere is the worst streaming app there is, and Dish Network is doing NOTHING to fix anything! For the amount we pay for service, there should not be so many issues.
3. To restore the program I go back to the channel guide, stop the buffering stuck stream and restart the channel.
4. After 1 hour, the screen goes black, and I have to go back to the TV guide and click on the channel I was watching to be able to keep watching.
5. Now add that it takes dish weeks, maybe months to fix issues that take other apps less than 24 hours to resolve.
6. No local channels, nothing is in numbered order, it's a mess.. on my firestick the guide looks like it would on my regular TV but will not play any show.
7. I have to exit in and out of the app so often because of freezing issues that I developed carpal tunnel syndrome from doing so.App is TRASH! Like many other reviews state.
8. It's been this way for a year.. I've tried to get tech support for a year and they just tell me they've been hacked... that was a year ago... still getting the same response.. pretty terrible app.. would be awesome if it actually worked.Very bad.
9. I have so many extra TV apps that I wouldn't need if this one worked.Terrible mistake! I switched over to Dish, and I truly regret it.
10. Also the tv guide is not up to date & it tells you the wrong program at a certain time.
11. Well when i clicked record on that program in the guide, it didn't record it at all.
