1. This is a huge problem! It's an ok app, but lacks some features (search recent foods, goal projections), and the inability to edit "verified" items that are incorrect makes accurate tracking a challenge - and I came across a new "verifed" item with incorrect info almost daily.
2. The free version's plenty! But I paid for a year because it was so cheap, and for the premium feature of saving "recipes" instead of entering in the same items for snack combos I eat regularly...such as 4 sesame crackers with a boiled egg and a tsp of avocado mayo.
3. They started charging $20 a month for premium features that used to be free and in my opinion not worth that steep price.
4. I need it to have weekly meal plans, provide me with more nutrient information, and better weight loss tracking. The app has an excellent design and is the most visually appealing app I've tried.
5. All that makes for an ok app that isn't worth paying for, and the free version lacks even more basic features, making it not worth using.
6. I bought the premium version at a huge discount and it's a great value, but I don't think there's enough features to justify the full price. This app has it all.
7. Originally, i used myfitnesspal, but after getting back on track to losing weight and seeing myfitnesspal put their most convenient thing, the barcode scanner, behind a pay wall, I started using lifesum.
8. Granted, I am very overweight so this loss will come easy at first, but the meal plans are extremely helpful in planning groceries for the week and avoiding temptation.
9. Having to manually look for food items defeats the purpose of me purchasing the premium.
10. Edit 2/23: The app now crashes any time I try to add food items that aren't from the existing recipes.
11. However, the serving sizes, calorie counts, and macronutrients for many of the foods are incorrect and many foods have multiple entries (all different).
