Why should I report an Issue with MyMAL - Anime and Manga Home?

1. Lower that to once a day or so would be my recommendation.App provides most of what I could hope for in a client and is a lot more convenient than logging in through a mobile browser! I think the experience could be improved by allowing users to share a link to the MAL page when browsing a specific anime's info/synopsis page (or at least open in browser).

2. (Same goes for manga) PocketMAL had been my favorite app, but it's now dead because the API was closed off...Worked fine for a week or two, but now whenever I go to add a new anime to my list it just blue screens and I can't do anything.

3. Lately it happens with me for example, that I'm trying to update progress/change a review on a certain series, and the app tells me that it has successfully saved the changes, however no progress is actually shown the next time I reload the page or restart the app.

4. When I search a manga only Animes appear and the manga that I've sewrch doesn't so I hope that in the future you will also consider to have a whole different part for Mangas.

5. refer to the movie app letterbox, if MAL were anything like that then it would be great.Suggestions: It doesn't show if a show is already on your list or not in the search screen(as C, PTW, W, H).

6. i have to keep reinstalling to add new anime cause after using it for a couple of days it stops working, all i can do is browse for new anime but im unable to add anything to my lists.

7. It probably has something to do with MAL as a whole, as while many people complain about how after the update you can't update your list, I had that problem BEFORE the update.

1. Fix MyMAL Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart MyMAL: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the MyMAL App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MyMAL" » Open MyMAL - Anime and Manga Home » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MyMAL » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear MyMAL - Anime and Manga Home app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MyMAL servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MyMAL - Anime and Manga Home" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check MyMAL app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MyMAL might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall MyMAL. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MyMAL then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MyMAL not working

2. Fix MyMAL Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MyMAL be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MyMAL not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MyMAL may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
