Segway Pass Customer Insights

1. Stuff that needs fixing: * Make scooters available when scanning their QR code * Allow logout and removal of payment methods (registered VISA cards etc) even when location is not available * Force developers to use the app themselves This app is just silly...Difficult to set up, and doesn't give enough time to allow codes for registration to be put in.

2. Terrible app.The rides only work for ONE scooter per phone, so I had to download it, then couldn't get past the location error without my location on for EVERYTHING! Also more expensive than how much it should price.Yes it only allows one scooter at a time but they are highly functional and easy to use.

3. APP could be made easier.Update left me stranded unable to open app, just keeps saying update available after I updated it.

4. I cannot believe how expensive these things are i spent 2$ to go one block because i took my time.

5. I've tried a really good amount of times, but they never seem to work.

6. The qr code is also easy to find!Can't access the app to use the scooters..not sure why.

7. Developers need to take the app off playstore and remake the app to work.

8. When downloaded and asked to allow we accepted everything but it closes out the app and won't let us access it.

9. I created an account, added email, phone number and visa card.

10. No pricing structure (main reason I downloaded in the first place).

11. Sorry son of a b****es.take the app off and get it right.It does not work.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Segway Pass Issues

1. Fix Segway Pass Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Segway Pass: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Segway Pass App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Segway Pass" » Open Segway Pass » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Segway Pass » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Segway Pass app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Segway Pass servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Segway Pass" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Segway Pass app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Segway Pass might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Segway Pass. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Segway Pass then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Segway Pass not working


2. Fix Segway Pass Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Segway Pass be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Segway Pass not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Segway Pass may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Tried 4 scooter rentals. All 4 would not move, but would charge full rate while we tried to figure out what’s wrong .
