1. So I'm very happy with this app! Great job!Have always found this to be a decent working scanner App! I personally have not tried other scanners(as this one has always worked fine!) I've had to get a new phone multiple times, and after each time, I always Evantualy make my way to download this app; to keep me up with the info in my area!! I have never bought any of the upgrade version, and it has always worked fine! -EDIT! Scanner settings don't totally work and will sometimes glitch in THIS phone.

It has become super boring when something important happens when your trying to use the scanner next thing you know you got to add that pops up at the very beginning and you miss everything you were trying to listen too.

1. Fix Scanner Radio Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Scanner Radio: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Scanner Radio App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Scanner Radio" » Open Scanner Radio - Police Scanner » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Scanner Radio » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Scanner Radio - Police Scanner app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Scanner Radio servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Scanner Radio - Police Scanner" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Scanner Radio app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Scanner Radio might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Scanner Radio. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Scanner Radio then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Scanner Radio not working

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Scanner Radio be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Scanner Radio not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Scanner Radio may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
