Why should I report an Issue with Micro Mechanic?

1. that would only happen when I turned ignition off, otherwise it just says scan in progress."no problems found" is a lie because check engine light is still onHorrible.

2. At the end of scan it displays a "safe to drive" message and no issues found despite a known issue and check engine light.

3. I hooked up the reciever, connected phone and device via Bluetooth, turned the car on, tapped scan, and it says everything checks out and is safe to drive.

4. Unfortunately I purchased two of these so I lost about 50 dollars in the process.So app did sync to device 2003 chevy trailblazer, with my check engine light on, app still says I'm good to go.

5. Wish I could get a full refund, but in the owners manual it clearly states "Product As Is"The actual DEVICE works great! (Download OBD Auto DR instead of this app) The APP doesn't work at all! Unfortunately this app gives the device a bad name & the device is great the app is junk.

What they do is you can't access any actual features offered on the box the box works only when you Buy!!.. The pro version, Otherwise basic version is pretty much useless..i can't even download the app.

9. Called support again, and was told the upgrade allows the dashboard to function, but has nothing to do with the scan detection.

10. It pairs with my Bluetooth okay and when I run a scan the app displays a spinning gear indicating a scan is in progress.

1. Fix Micro Mechanic Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Micro Mechanic: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Micro Mechanic App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Micro Mechanic" » Open Micro Mechanic » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Micro Mechanic » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Micro Mechanic app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Micro Mechanic servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Micro Mechanic" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Micro Mechanic app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Micro Mechanic might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Micro Mechanic. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Micro Mechanic then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Micro Mechanic not working

2. Fix Micro Mechanic Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Micro Mechanic be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Micro Mechanic not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Micro Mechanic may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
