1. Maybe not worth $10 a week (definitely not, you do have to pay $9.99 in order to message other users) and If the app could be far from user-friendly, it could easily be great and a go-to for potential roommates. Not worth the money.
2. This app is worthless.Basically unusable without a subscription to message other people and get into contact with them.
3. It won't tell you every person within your search radius, and when you search for a specific city, it will often dodge to a nearby city for no reason whatsoever.
4. So, as long as you pay for the subscription along with the other person you want to contact, you're just out of luck with this.
5. The messaging system and the profiles are great-it does give you a sense of the room and the person you might live with.
6. I bit, and even the people looking for rooms that messaged me first would never write back.
7. Plugging in your specifications and location preferences because of it are a pain in the butt-you simply WON'T be able to find everything and everyone you are looking for.
8. And I've found there are way many listjngs that should've been closed weeks ago for people who have already claimed they have taken a roommate already.
9. I realized pretty quickly there would be no way to respond to or read any messages from anyone looking without paying $30.
10. Waste of my time and money.I've had nothing but difficulty with Roomster.
11. Unlike Craigslist, there is a basic amount of vetting for each user so you do feel like you get to talk to actual people.
No longer needing the account. Found a place.
