Why should I report an Issue with Roomi: Roommate & Rooms Finder?

1. The "MESSAGE" button on listings DOESN'T WORK, you have to click the person's profile and hope they only have one listing, otherwise the app makes it so you're inquiring about whatever listing they have listed first.

2. I went to click, "vote for your city", filled it out (several times, trying city name and state, then adding country as well, then tried spelling everything out in full rather than abbreviating state and country) and nothing worked.

3. Constantly crashes, freezes while in-app, has a clunky user experience, and the messaging is practically non-existent since it doesn't work.

4. Every time, I got an error message saying city or state name was missing.

5. It got worse as the year has gone on.Last year I had an excellent experience on the app - I actually found a room and sublet for a while! But after this new update, the app is extremely buggy.

6. But why bother asking if the filter doesn't work.

7. So in short, if your city isn't there, this app isn't gonna work for you.The app is a black hole - barely functional.

8. I can't message people, the app constantly freezes, and the UI barely works.This app is a good idea and has many great features.

1. Fix Roomi Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Roomi: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Roomi App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Roomi" » Open Roomi: Roommate & Rooms Finder » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Roomi » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Roomi: Roommate & Rooms Finder app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Roomi servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Roomi: Roommate & Rooms Finder" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Roomi app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Roomi might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Roomi. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Roomi then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Roomi not working

2. Fix Roomi Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Roomi be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Roomi not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Roomi may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
