1. Fully integrate the app with the motion settings (schedules) from the Ring app and you have a winner.Rapid Ring does work faster on my android phone than the regular Ring app, but all the Ring apps are the worst programmed apps I've seen in years.
2. In summary, it fixes the slow live feed load time but that is the only thing it really does.Super fast! Doesn't take longer than 3 seconds max to connect! Recommend it for sure! Only thing I would change is the notification sounds, they all use your notification sound you have set for text.
3. At first it was a little quicker pulling up the live camera feeds but it got progressively slower over time and now it's just as slow as the standard app, making it almost useless as a live view system.
4. Huge downside, though, is that it overwrites the Ring app meaning it doesn't work with any cameras you have Motion detection on schedules.
5. It doesn't honor settings from full ring app - I snoozed motion for a couple of hours on ring app, as there is something going on at my door.
6. Note that after uninstalling Rapid Ring, I also encountered the "feature" of having my Ring app notifications disabled.
7. I used to love my ring cameras, but if they are going to force settings with no turnoff, I may be forced to look at other options.
8. There seems to be a major issue with Rapid Ring right now, in that it doesn't work, AT ALL.
9. My only gripe is constantly getting dual notifications from both Ring and Rapid Ring.
10. Supposedly, the Rapid Ring app takes precedence over the Ring app for notifications, but that isn't the case.
11. Time to switch.Little control, no settings - I am really disappointed with software support for ring.
