Why should I report an Issue with RiffTrax Sync?

1. I'm not a genius, but I like to make things look pretty! Maybe I can help update the design and UX? Seems slightly on the dated and clunky side? Much love to you all!What happened??? This used to work just fine and dandy, now it just says "Your application encountered a fatal error and cannot continue." My lone option is "OK" which is not acceptable since it isn't OK! Have you made changes which require a particular version of Android? If so, why? I shouldn't need to buy a new device every time my apps get updated.

2. Also if you have to pause the video, stop the riff audio, rewind the movie 30 seconds and play.AWESOME APP! (Read) My biggest problem with rifftrax has been the headache of trying to sync the tracks with the movies.

3. The auto-sync just spins its wheels for like half the movie on my Pixel phones (3 XL and 6 Pro) but like I said, manual tuning isn't a big problem.Flawless! Took me a minute or two to figure out how to work the autosync (really, more me not understanding how it works rather than any fault to the app).

4. I'm telling you, if Lord of the Rings put you to sleep, these gentlemen turn it into one of the biggest comedy epics of all time! It did take 3 minutes for the auto sync to kick in (only used the app once so far), but I'm still really glad it exists and I'll definitely be taking advantage!Updated review (2-21-20) This app is much better than it used to be.

5. Keep it up!!Because the syncing is dependent on the audio of the movie the sync reliability for starting the movie is so-so.

6. The timeline scrubbing and forward/reverse controls aren't as user-friendly as some other video apps when making big jumps and finding your place (for instance, if you have to interrupt viewing and come back later), but they are pretty well-suited for fine-tuning the sync.

7. I can play a movie on my phone and use the app simultaneously (using the split screen feature) and it works great! Nice UI too.

1. Fix RiffTrax Sync Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart RiffTrax Sync: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the RiffTrax Sync App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "RiffTrax Sync" » Open RiffTrax Sync » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for RiffTrax Sync » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear RiffTrax Sync app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from RiffTrax Sync servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "RiffTrax Sync" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check RiffTrax Sync app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, RiffTrax Sync might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall RiffTrax Sync. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall RiffTrax Sync then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing RiffTrax Sync not working

2. Fix RiffTrax Sync Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make RiffTrax Sync be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to RiffTrax Sync not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, RiffTrax Sync may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
